Why this matters to us

Our business is people. Every day we work with seafarers, shore teams and partners around the world, and we’ve learned one simple thing: the best crews and the best companies draw on the widest pool of talent.

Women are still underrepresented at sea and in shipping leadership. The last BIMCO/ICS Seafarer Workforce Report put women at about 1.2% of the global seafarer workforce. That’s a lot of talent the industry isn’t reaching.
