Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility. All Crossworld crews are eligible to join the Photo Contest.

2. Submit more photos for more chances of winning. There is no limit on number of entry per participant.

3. Deadline of Entries. Deadline of photo submissions is on April 20, 2021.

4. Judging Criteria. Criteria for judging and selecting winners are based on the
- Creativity & Originality
- Appropriateness to Themes
- Photo Composition (Storytelling and Clarity)
- Original Color, Lighting, Exposure and Focus
- Overall Photo Impact

5. Contest Prize. Crossworld panel of judges will check and select three (3) winners.
Top 3 winners will received:
1st place prize: $250
2nd place prize: $150 
3rd place prize: $100

6. Contest Winner Announcement. Winners will be announced through Crossworld’s social media pages.  Winners will also be notified via email address within 30 days after announcement date. If the winner cannot claim the prize personally, they can send their authorized representative to claim the prize on their behalf with an authorization letter and copy of ID.

7. Permissions. Participants are responsible for his/her principal/vessel’s data privacy permissions, social media guidelines or restrictions, or any permissions necessary for public posting and use, before submitting a photo entry to this contest. Crossworld should not, in any way, be held liable and responsible for the contest participant’s inability to secure the necessary permission or consent for the submitted entries, if the image contains any material or element that is not the participant’s property, or any person or subject included in the photo submitted.

8. By submitting photos to join, you are agreeing and allowing Crossworld to post, use, edit, or improve your photos for social media, digital, and non-digital marketing purposes for an unlimited number of posts, during the period of two years.

9. Confidentiality. All personal details will be secure and kept confidential. Selected photos will mostly be credited to owner when used by the company.

10. Liability. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

11. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this contest.

12. By entering this contest, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

How to Join

1. Click on the link from #CrossworldWinterPhotoContest photo contest post.

2. Fill in your details and upload your photo entries.
- Photos must be in high resolution, unedited, clear and not pixelated. - Photos captured while at work, must following safety protocols.
- Photos must be personal snapshots related to: sea landscapes, parts of the ship, and seafarer’s everyday life or related with these themes: #CrossworldInNewNormal, #CrossworldLove, #CrossworldGivesRecognition and #CrossworldGoesGreen

3. Submit more photos for more chances of winning.

4. Crossworld will pre-select photo entries with complete details and in accordance to the themes. Our panel of judges, consisting of our principals will check the photo entries and select winners. 5. Declaration of winners will be on April 30, 2021. Top 3 winners will received the following:
