Crossworld Operations Continue as Metro Manila Goes on Lockdown
Crossworld Marine Services, Inc. remains operational while Metro Manila undergoes a strict lockdown from August 06-20, 2021 amid the threat of the more transmissible COVID-19 Delta variant.
Office hours will stay the same (9am-6pm PHT) for the two-week period and Crossworld is hoping that the Enhanced Community Quarantine in Metro Manila will have minimal effects on the company.
Recruitment, operations, and deployment will continue as normal throughout the lockdown despite the company having to retain a skeletal force at the office with remaining staff working from home, though some hitches and delays can be expected. There may however be some more significant challenges outside of the company as government and other offices related to deployment including Philippine Overseas Employment Agency (POEA) may have limited operations or are totally closed.
Crossworld's fleet supervisors and crewing managers remain in contact with their principals with recommendations for some anticipation and pre-emptive work to avoid major issues.
