Golden Union Crew Conference 2018

Zambales, Philippines – Crossworld Marine holds a two-day conference for Golden Union crew in the PMMA grounds last November. The theme was ‘Strengthening Seafarer’s Competence for Operational Excellence and Regulatory compliance’.

During the event, crew members from Golden Union were able to hear from Rights Ship founder and former CEO Norman Warwick who talked about ship standard and processes. Warwick came all the way from Australia to give a talk to the crew.

Meanwhile, Marine Safety Specialist at California State Lands Commission Capt. Gilbert Pingue who came all the way from the U.S. discussed MARPOL Compliance and new regulations.

Capt. Rene Espinar, Operations Director, Crossworld Marine Services Inc. discussed the importance of safety onboard and how it is every vessels’ responsibility.

Philippine Cost Guard Deputy Chief of Coast Guard Staff Lt. Cmdr. Eugenio Federico, PMMA-Training Officers Capt. Rommel Arcibal gave a presentation on the best practices on the Safety parameters while on deck.

Golden Union Director Capt. George Gabriel talked about the compliance-safety environment for everyone onboard.

Also at the event were Crossworld Marine Services Inc.’s CEO Simos Varias and the company’s Vice President Arnold Mendoza. Other officials from the Golden Union were Alexandros Gabriel, Eleni Andreadi, Mariathini Andreadi, Theodoridis Stylianos, and Georgios Kouros.
