Crossworld’s charity arm spreads holiday cheers
Crossworld Charity Foundation Inc. spread Christmas joy to the needy and the sick as it organized two gift-giving events in December.
Among them is a Christmas party for the children in Bahay Aruga which is a halfway house in Manila for Pediatric cancer patients.
Around 28 Bahay Aruga kids received T-shirts, calendars, and cash assistance in the amount of P 5,000.00 each. There were also games and party activities during the event that was held in Manila residences last Dec. 8.
Crossworld Charity Foundation Inc.’s ‘Circle of Hope’ meanwhile held a similar event at St. Luke’s Medical Arts building in Quezon City. There, Ostomates together with their family received gifts such as mugs, umbrellas, and ostomy bags.
Dr. Omar Ocampo also gave a key speech and visual presentation for the patients relating to their condition.
CCFI President and Crossworld Operations Manager Ramoncito ‘Chito’ Mendoza led both events.
‘Crossworld Charity Foundation Inc. looks forward to assisting these cancer-stricken people who most of them are from the deprived sectors of society with ways it can.’
