Crossworld, UP hold Benefit Concert

Manila, Philippines - Crossworld’s Charity Foundation partners with University of the Philippines Manila for a benefit concert dubbed ‘Playground Concert’.

Held last April 20 at the Open-air Auditorium in Rizal Park, the event aims to raise funds for its partner institutions including Bahay Aruga, the Philippine General Hospital Cancer Institute, St. Luke’s Circle of Hope, and Bahay Parola. 

Astra Marine, one of Crossworld's principals, also contributed as a co-sponsor of the fundraising concert.

‘Playground’ also focused on the celebration of every child’s right to have fun through music as Never the Strangers, Lola Amour, Ang Bandang Shirley, and Rivermaya performed for the participants.

The ‘Hope Project’ is a socio-civic student organization of UP Manila which aims to inspire hope in children diagnosed with cancer and other chronic illnesses. Its mission is to provide both financial and psychological support for such kids suffering from the said diseases.
