Maritime Forum held in Marina Office

The 121st Maritime Forum of Maritime League was held at the Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) Central office last April 21.

League president and forum Chairman Commo. Carlos L. Agustin AFP opened the forum with a short remark. This was followed by a welcome address by Marina Administrator Marcial Amaro. 

It’s the first forum to be hosted by Marina since Amaro assumed as Marina chief in July 2016

The forum includes the presentation by Marina of its safety, maritime education and training programs. There was also a discussion yearend (2016) reports, that include circulars and advisories, and other undertaking led by Mr. Amaro and Capt. Eleazar G. Diaz, Chief of the Agency’s standards of training, certification and watchkeeping office (STCWO)

The Maritime League is a non-profit Filipino foundation established in 1990, with the prime objective of spurring progress in the maritime sector and advance the interests of the maritime profession and the entire maritime industry.
