Lauritzen Kosan Conference

Lauritzen Kosan held its second Officers Conference at the World Trade Center in Pasay City last November 25-27, 2015.

The conference was led by the LK Vice President himself Mr. Claus Winter Graugaard, along with Marine HR Manager Mr. Christian Riis, and assistant Ms Susanne Poulsen. Technical and other Managers from LK Copenhagen were also present. The event was organized by Crossworld in coordination with LK Manila’s Mr. Flemming and his staff. The three-day event was participated in by a total of 82 officers on vacation manning LK ships through Crossworld.

Highlights of the conference were review on wages - in which a pay rise for the senior officers was announced, and matters on the safer operation of the ships in particular focus on improving officers’ performances.

The Officers were also presented with plaques in recognition of the number of years they served LK, particularly those who have past 15, 20, and 25 year marks. Other awards and memorabilia were also given out. It is the intention of LK to continue giving such recognition awards in the years to come. The ratings will be given recognition as well. Others who were not at the conference will be awarded their plaques at LK Manila office.
