Enhance more my practical and technical skills regarding different types of engines on board and study and analyze more new laws regarding SOLAS and STCW Code.

What is your top priority at the time?

Updating trainings regarding my career as an Engineer and additional seminars about safety and new laws about maritime conventions.

How does this career affect your lifestyle and work/family balance?

When I'm in vacation, I just spend quality time to my family.

Study hard, read a lot and think first before you act since that may affect your safety.

A successful career for me is when you achieve all your dreams for your family.

Yes, it is important to take upgrading trainings about safety and environmental laws.

No, I just work normal with them same as my fellow Filipino crew on board.

Just work, nothing personal, as long it will not affect the work or maintenance you do.

Tell us about a time when you disagreed with the actions or decisions of your superior. How did you approach the situation? Was the situation resolved to your satisfaction or did nothing to change?

To my superior, I just follow and respect them to the decisions that will not affect my safety and others.

Describe a conflict you were involved in at work. How did you manage the conflict? What happened next with that coworker or team?

I don't yet experience this kind of situations but if it happens, I think it will be better to talk to them and ask the problem esp. that may affect harmonious relationship on board.
